PropBank — Property management platform built for agents

Background

Real estate agents needed a better way to reach buyers

PropBank is a B2B digital platform built by the REEVO team at Hartamas. It's designed for real estate agents and developers to market properties — letting agents browse the latest projects and connect with interested buyers in one place.
I was brought in as a contracted Product Designer to lead the initial design of the app. From the first meetings, it was clear that the core challenge wasn't just about building another property listing tool. The agents I spoke with had a specific problem: getting buyers interested enough to take the next step, without being physically present.
📍 Context: This project happened during the aftermath of Covid-19. Physical property viewings were restricted or difficult to arrange. Agents were losing potential buyers at the very first touchpoint — there was simply no good way to show a property remotely.

How might we give real estate agents a tool that lets them market properties and engage buyers — even when a physical visit isn't possible?

My Role
I owned the design process end-to-end — from the initial discovery meetings with the REEVO team, through user journey mapping, wireframing, style guide alignment, UI design, prototyping, and finally handing off to engineering for development. The app was built on Flutter, targeting Android as the primary OS, and published on both Google Play and the App Store.
UX Approach

How I structured the design process

01

Research & Discovery

Ran sessions with the REEVO team to surface what agents actually needed day-to-day. Mapped pain points around accessibility, information gaps, and buyer engagement.

02

Definition & Ideation

Built user journeys for both agents and developers. Sketched wireframes to explore how filtering, brochure downloads, WhatsApp integration, and live tour registration could work together.

03

Design & Handoff

Aligned the visual design with the REEVO brand guide. Researched Flutter UI libraries to make sure the design was buildable. Created a prototype simple enough to test.

Discovery

Understanding what agents actually needed

The first thing I did was sit down with the REEVO team. Through these sessions, two pain points came up again and again: accessibility to information and keeping track of new developments.

PropBank App UI Design

But the insight that changed the direction of the project came from thinking about what was happening outside the app. We were in the aftermath of Covid-19. Buyers were cautious about in-person visits. Agents were losing leads not because the properties weren't good, but because there was no way to bridge that gap remotely.
Key Insight

The virtual tour wasn't a nice-to-have. It was the product.

Once I mapped the agent's full journey, it became clear where the biggest drop-off happened. Agents could find properties easily enough. But when it came to actually showing the property to a buyer, the process broke down completely.
Challenge
Agents were losing buyer engagement at the point of showing. Without physical access, there was no way to give buyers the experience they needed to move forward.
Issue
Existing tools only supported static images. No platform offered a way to let buyers explore a property from home in a way that felt immersive.
Solution
I proposed integrating a live virtual tour feature. Agents could invite prospects to professionally recorded online tours, letting buyers explore projects from home.
Wireframes & Flow

Sketching out the core features

I identified four core features that needed to work together seamlessly: property filtering, brochure downloads, WhatsApp integration, and live tour registration as the centrepiece.

1

Aligning with the REEVO brand

PropBank needed to feel like it belonged in the same family as REEVO. I used a similar brand guide to ensure consistency. When agents switched between REEVO tools and PropBank, the experience shouldn't feel disconnected.

2

Designing for Flutter — constraints shaped the UI

Because the app was built on Flutter, I researched the available UI libraries early. Android was the primary OS, so I leaned into flat design with native interaction patterns to ensure the design was buildable.
UI Design & Prototype

From wireframes to a testable prototype

The design direction was simple, modern, and intuitive. I kept the screens clean — agents are on the move, so nothing should require more than a few taps to reach.

Conceptualizing the app UI

The virtual tour entry point was a deliberate design decision. I placed it prominently on the property detail screen. It needed to be the first thing a buyer noticed after the property photos.

3

Handing off to the dev team

The prototype was designed to be simple enough to test with agents before launch, and detailed enough for engineering to build from. The collaboration with the REEVO team worked well, and the app was published on both Google Play and the iOS App Store.
Design Impact

What the virtual tour actually changed

The virtual tour feature became the most-used tool on the platform. Agents reported that it saved them significant time and increased engagement.

Takeaways
01

Insights from the team were the starting point. The REEVO team knew their agents well. Listening closely during early sessions revealed the opportunity for the virtual tour.

02

The biggest design opportunity was in the gap. The virtual tour emerged from mapping the full user journey and seeing where engagement dropped off.

03

Designing for constraints saved time. Researching Flutter libraries and Android patterns early meant fewer surprises during development.

Testimonial

"PropBank has helped my business in so many ways. The Online Tour is by far my favourite tool. It allows me to save time by inviting prospects to professionally recorded Online Tours where they get to explore projects from home."
